Shraddha Yoga Centre – Joanne Jackett – has been established in Brighton since . My introduction to yoga was in at the Gita School of Yoga. Having attended classes as a student of Hatha Yoga and Yoga Philosophy for some time, Margrit Segesman, the founder and Principle of the Gita School invited me to undergo Teacher Training. Under her strict and disciplined tutelage I qualified to teach in . I remained as a teacher at the school until when I then began teaching independently in Brighton where my classes are currently held. In recent years I have furthered my studies in Meditation and Yoga Philosophy becoming a member and student of the Self-Realisation Fellowship who disseminate the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda.
