Tricia Stewart: Registered Psychologist, MPsych. GradDipPsych. BscPsych, MAPS. MAPS Health College, Health Endorsed Psychologist, Medicare Registered. Tricia Stewart is a fully registered psychologist with a Masters Degree in Health Psychology and a registered provider of Medicare services. Tricia is also a mother of 6 children and grandmother to 5. Her youngest daughter sits on the ASD spectrum allowing her both a personal insight into the extra family and individual complexities that this brings to the daily struggle of life. Tricia's experience is varied with a background in Mental Health working with both adults and children with Schizophrenia, Bipolar, Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Personality Disorder, Drug and Alcohol Dependence and both intellectual and physical disabilities. Tricia has worked within Work Cover as a rehabilitation case manager, Blue Care as a Respite Co-coordinator, Education Queensland as a Home School Liaison Officer for indigenous people and for International Health Services working with children and families in Immigration Detention Centre's. In addition, Tricia has worked within school settings and families negotiating the guidelines and boundaries of working with children with complex needs arising from intellectual disabilities and behavioral issues. Tricia has been in Private Practice in rural and regional areas for over years and now brings her extensive experience to Bigerra Waters on the Gold Coast. My approach is client centered and solution focused. My passion is my clients and my success is measured only in their success and their individual discovery of their own strengths and resilience. My knowledge, skills and expertise comes from many years of listening and growing with my clients and rejoicing in their grasp of knowledge, skills and self belief in their ability to make choices for their own lives.
