"Alex Earl is a Melbourne based design studio that creates lighting and furniture for both intimate spaces and large scale commercial projects. With over ten years of experience in designing and making beautiful products that draw from our foundations in architecture and the creative arts, Alex Earl is proud to create lighting, furniture and sound systems that are unique and celebrate the beauty of the materials they are made of.
We create high-end lighting and furniture, interiors and installations for homes and offices from our Collingwood workshop and studio. Our timber products are all purchased from FSC approved suppliers and our imported timber arrive to our workshop carbon positive. All our manufacturing is done in Melbourne and Australian made materials are used whenever possible.
Our motto is to design and create all our products by hand, ourselves, even when cheaper offshore options are available. With complete control over our work process we stand by each and every piece we create and are just as proud to have made them as you will be do display them.
