Marshal Keen was following the everyday path to adulthood, enjoying student life and pursuing a degree in business management, when he realised that wasn’t the path he wanted to follow. The son of a builder, Marshal had always been around construction and without knowing it had developed an affinity for raw materials and clever design that he wanted to explore further. A carpentry apprenticeship followed and Marshal’s builder’s license came soon after. Working his way through the ranks of one of the Gold Coast’s premier construction companies, Marshal was quickly drafted into the project management team, though it wasn’t long before the urge to work for himself, on the projects he wanted to, became too strong. It was time to go it alone. With a strong body of work to his name, these days Marshal is keen to tackle any challenge, from renovation to construction, residential to commercial, patio to palace. Combining classic construction principles with a love of raw materials, and a willingness to adapt modern touches and clever solutions, Marshal Keen’s projects are bold, unique and timeless, and ideally suited to the adventurous client.
