At The Studio children will develop self-discipline, express creativity, enhanced coordination and self-confidence. Enriched by the involvement of contemporary practitioners The Studio affirms teaching practices that are inclusive and inspiring.
Our teachers hold blue cards, are up to date with latest safe-dance practices and are industry leaders or emerging artists of exceptional quality. The Studio provides expert tuition to future generations of young dance artists.
The Studio is directed by Lisa Wilson. Lisa has a twenty-year international career, working as a director, choreographer, producer, performer, educator and mentor. Lisa has created works (amongst others) for The Australian Ballet, Sydney Dance Company, Queensland Theatre Company, Dance North, Queensland Ballet Company, Expressions Dance Company, Opera Queensland and The Place Theatre (UK).
