Innes Corporation is a New South Wales-based company which designs, develops and distributes equipment for the radio and television broadcasting industries. The business was established in by John Innes, and exploited his extensive expertise in the field of HF and VHF transmitters and his wealth of experience in the Australian television broadcast industry. Innes Corporation was incorporated as a proprietary limited company in . Projects in which the company was involved included building the Radio Australia transmitting station near Darwin in Australia’s Northern Territory and undertaking consultancy for RCA.
In the company expanded its in-house manufacturing operations to include distribution of foreign-manufactured broadcast equipment. The company was joined by Dr Jeffrey Pages, who has since engineered a range of award winning professional analogue and AES sound cards, AM, FM and DAB+ tuner cards and audio related software used by broadcasters around the world.
