The company distributes stock case designs for a wide range of manufacturers including:
• Pelican cases - co-polymer polypropylene watertight, dustproof cases with stainless steel hinge and handle pins, double-throw latches and automatic pressure equalization valves.
• Spacecases - roto-moulded from a high strength UV stabilised polyethylene material.
• Storm cases - built to withstand impact, temperature, moisture and rough transit.
• Fischer toolboxes - Australian made plastic tool boxes and parts containers often combined with custom foam inserts to provide a unique solution to a casing problem.
As well as standard travel case designs, Protective Cases will assist customers to create foam inserts to customise standard aluminium travel cases to create solutions to their own needs.
For applications for which no standard design of travel case exists, Protective Cases will design and make custom cases singly, or in production batches. Construction uses the Penn hardware system, and takes place in Protective Cases’ own premises. Protective Cases will make cases and inserts based on dimensions supplied by the customer, but also undertakes the measurement of the customer’s equipment and the design of the case.
