Electro-polishing has advantages over the traditional means of finishing alloys, in that it avoids the use of hazardous chemicals such as hydrofluoric and nitric acids or heated caustic. Much contemporary environmental and health regulation forbids the use of these procedures, so Metaglo electro-polishing is an excellent way of complying with environmental law.
