SXL Gymnastics started operations on Sydney’s North Shore in , when Head Coach Xi Lin Shen (SXL) moved from China to Australia to commence coaching women’s artistic and acrobatic gymnastics.
SXL has established itself as a reputable club for operating structured classes for learning recreational gymnastics. SXL has also established a strong levels development program and prepared many students to go on to competition in Acrobatic Gymnastics or various gymsports in other specialised clubs (e.g. women’s artistic, men’s artistic, trampolining, etc.) SXL is one of the leading competitive Acrobatic Gymnastics clubs in Australia, winning more national gold medals than any other club over the past ten years and being the recipient of the Gymnastics NSW Club of the Year award in , , , , , , , & .
