"I have always had a passion for photography and 4 years ago, B Captured was born. Like everyone else, I have big dreams and wild ambitions but I acknowledge that dreams stay as dreams if you don’t work hard to make them happen. As a late starter in photography, I knew that I needed to work twice as hard to make up for lost time. When people sleep, I shoot; when people eat, I shoot and when people play, I still shoot. I have my camera with me everywhere I go. However, I never got sick of shooting, I really enjoyed it. The more I shot, the happier I became. I never had the luxury of having someone teach me how to shoot but what I did have was a real thirst for photography. My day feels incomplete if I have not taken a photo with my camera.
In , I was named SA's Wedding Photographer of the Year by the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) and in the following year () I also took out the most prestigious wedding photography title in Australia - the AIPP Australian Wedding Photographer of the Year. In the same year, I also went on in winning 1st place internationally in the International Loupe Awards competing against some of the world's best wedding photographers. I was also the first South Australian to be accepted in the prestigious Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalists Association (AG|WPJA) and have also been awarded 1st place in the world for the reception category. To be accepted in the (AG|WPJA), one must prove that they can excel both in creating outstanding images through a documentary approach, and in the art of post-production processing of wedding photographs.
Today, B Captured is one of the fastest growing photography studios in Australia. Our services are no longer limited to weddings but has expanded to family, commercial and cinematography work.
Our team is passionate about photography and cinematography and our job is to re-tell the story from the day through our trained eyes and from the eyes of the couple. Our photos/videos act like a time machine that can transport the couple back to their wedding day even decades later when they are all wrinkled!
