Hatch & Co. offers its guests a relaxed bar and dining experience, located amongst Newstead’s stylish restaurant and retail offerings in the redeveloped Gasworks Plaza. Hatch & Co. boasts a welcoming atmosphere, with diners able to enjoy the Brisbane sunshine and river breezes from the alfresco dining area with a view of the precinct’s heritage listed gasometer. The light and spacious décor combines an open kitchen, contemporary blonde wood furniture and walls of greenery to seamlessly connect the restaurant’s indoor and outdoor dining spaces. After working in award-winning restaurants all over the world, Head Chef Peter Clark has returned to Australia to lead the Hatch & Co. kitchen. Clark has drawn inspiration from the principles of traditional slow cooking to deliver rustic meals crafted from local and sustainable produce. The range of repasts includes hearty mains, flavoursome pizzas and generous share plates. Hatch & Co.’s beer, wine and cocktails list includes a range of local and imported labels to complement and enhance each meal.
